PERFORMANCE SPECIFICATION
PUMP, FUEL, ELECTRICAL: 12 AND 24 VOLT DIRECT CURRENT (METRIC)
This specification is approved for use by all Departments and
Agencies of the Department of Defense.
1. SCOPE
1.1 Scope. This specification covers two types of electrically operated, in-line fuel
pumps for use with 12 and 24 volt direct current (Vdc) automotive electrical systems (see 6.1).
1.2 Classification. Pumps are classified according to type, voltage, polarity, and metric
thread designation, as specified (see 6.2 and 6.3).
