3.4 Performance. Assemblies shall meet the following performance requirements listed
below as 3.4.1 through 3.4.11 with their respective tolerances listed in table I. Performance
operation shall require diesel fuel conforming to No. 2-D of A-A-52557.

3.4.1 Minimum fuel flow. The assembly shall provide a fuel flow of no less than
42±2 pounds per hour (pph) (see 4.5.3.1).
3.4.2 Backup valve operation. The assembly shall supply a fuel flow of 118±6 pph with
loss of electrical power to the assembly (see 4.5.3.2).
